Project Details and Progress

The Western Desert Project is a sub directory of the AusAnthrop web site. It describes the methods, means and results of an ongoing project on land tenure and kinship of the Aborigines of the Western Desert of Australia. The aim is to analyse contemporary social structure among these 40 and more dialectal groups, as well as to investigate historical transformations.
