Some great books on Aboriginal Art

Peter Sutton's Dreamings

Peter Sutton's Dreamings: the Art of Aboriginal Australia, is one of the most interesting and best illustrated books available on art of the Aborigines of Australia. It is more than the usual exhibition catalogues, as it does discuss and present ethnological facts accompanying the paintings. This is a beautiful book every person interested in art should have in its shelf.

Howard Morphy's Aboriginal Art

Howard Morphys's Aboriginal Art is yet another beautiful book about Aboriginal Art, especially of the Top End (Arnhem Land). Morphy is one of the major specialists on this topic.
