I was born at and grew up at Castlecrag, Sydney NSW and would like to locate records or someone who holds information about the Aboriginal people of this specific peninsula and their presence there.

I have read a little of general info on the Sydney region in histories. I am hoping to find a local archive repository with which I could communicate, or a local historian who has an interest in this specific history.

I also would like to find out if there are any known living descendents from that area, and how I might go about my enquiries in this area.

I do know that many of Sydney's Aboriginal people were victims of smallpox early on after white invasion.

I now live in the USA so a visit to any information/history collections is not currently possible.
